Rugby League

Elmbridge Eagles Rugby League Club | community rugby for all ages in Thames Ditton

From first-time players to seasoned athletes, Elmbridge Eagles brings people together through passion, teamwork, and a shared love of the game.

Elmbridge Eagles is the community-driven rugby league powerhouse operating from Old Cranleighan Sports Club. Established in 1985 (originally as Kingston Warriors), we’re among the longest-standing grassroots rugby league clubs in the South of England. We serve all ages, genders, and abilities with programmes from primary school levels right through to Open Age, Women's, Masters, and wheelchair divisions.

We deliver exceptional, inclusive programming:

  • Primaries (U7–U11) gather on Saturday mornings for fun, safe rugby league exposure.

  • Junior Boys (U12–U16) train Thursdays and Saturdays, featuring structured league competition.

  • Junior Girls & Women (U12–U18 and Open Age) meet Saturday mornings, no experience needed.

  • Open Age & Masters (16+) train Tuesday evenings with competitive and social options available.

Our institution is powered by dedicated volunteers and accredited coaches, backed by a proud affiliation with the Rugby Football League. We balance competitive ambition (with teams in London leagues, including finals appearances like the 2022 London & South East Grand Final) with community spirit and accessibility for novices and veterans alike.

Ready to join our winning league?

Whether you’re eager to kick-start your rugby journey, expand opportunities for your child, or contribute as a volunteer or coach, the Elmbridge Eagles welcome you.
